Here's a little info on the teachers we had....

Ole Jenssen... When Ole is not working as a teacher for S.A.F.E he works as personal trainer. Ole has an incredibly huge amount og knowledge about nutrition & training.
Ole is also a Body Builder in the lower weight division, he does around 6-8 shows a year, he became the danish Mr. Fitness in 2000, he was also a european champion a one time, but I can't remember what weight class nor what years it was.

Ivan Hansen... Ivan had a long career in the army, he has an insanely amount of degrees that he achieved when he was in the army.
Back in the early 90's Ivan Hansen and Jørgen Panduro (Academy Director) founded "Fitness Academy Denmark" which were school like S.A.F.E that also educated Fitness Instructors & Personal Trainers.

They both went their seperate ways when Jørgen Panduro was head hunted by S.A.F.E. in the late 90's, and became Academy Director for S.A.F.E.
Ivan then founded "Team Freelance" which is a small group that visits schools and firms, and lectures them in how to strengthen the firm as a unit through team work.
He also works a Personal Trainer every now and then, but only with pro. athletes.
Ivan was also a Body Builder, but decided to retire in the late 90's and alter became a teacher ad S.A.F.E.

Thomas Milkowski... This guy sort of revolutionized the meaning of a personal trainer here in Denmark, he got a job at a very small gym in copenhagen, and within a matter of months he went from working as a Fitness Instructor to working as a Personal Trainer full time, he even had a larger income then the guy who ran the gym.
Thomas also had a long career in the Army, and has also achived numerous degrees in the army.

...In other words, we had some of Denmarks best teachers.

About Me...

In 1999 I graduated from school, or HighShool as youl call where you live. At that point I was 17, I didn't really know what kind of education I wanted to take, so rather then spending 3-4 years on an education that I really wasn't intrested in, I decided to take some time off and figure out what I really wanted to do with my life.
So from 1999-2003 I worked as carpenter, nothing fancy per se, just helping out.
In mid 2002 I bumped into the Personal Trainer education and I immediately signed up.
I've been lifting weights since I was 15 yers old, the first 3 years wasn't really anything serious, but from I when turned 18 and up intill now I trained regular without any breaks.

As a person I would describe myself as being honest, loyal, kind, always in a happy mood and easy to get a long with.
Shortly after I got my Personal Trainer licens back in December last year I decided to start out as freelance Personal Trainer, so I had a talk with the local gym owner where I normally workout, and asked him if I could use his gym for my clients, he laughed a bit and asked if I was joking. The thing is the Personal Trainer business in Denmark is not even nearly as big as in the US, there is properly only 20 Personal Trainers in the whole country of Denmark that can make a living of it. But anyway, he gave me greenlight to use his gym.
So for the next 8 months, from January to August I ran my own little business and worked as a part time freelance Personal Trainer, I still wanted to keep my 9-5 job just in case if something should go wrong.
So when I got off work I'd drive to the gym change clothes and worked as a Personal Trainer, I usually had 3-4 clients per day, and 5-6 on Saturdays and Sundays.
I always wanted to move to the US and work as Personal Trainer, so in early August I decided to close down my business.
I feel it's time to take the next step in my life, to see if I can do just as well in the US as a Personal Trainer.

I'm mostly intrested in working fulltime as a Personal Trainer, but I don't mind start out working part-time, and then work my way up to work fulltime.
